| What is the Dubroom Studio and what can I find there? |
|
In a studio, musicians and technicians come together, to actively create music, or re-mix it. Ofcourse I can't make a real studio on the site, so it's kind of a virtual studio, where you, as musician, might find tools, tips and tricks for your own musical productions.
You can find the following things: First of all, there is the Drummer's Corner. This section is created to serve the reggae drummers. It is an initiative from Jah Roots drummer Imro Fedor, and for now, it contains some writing of the brethren. This section will be extended in the coming period. Further, you can download loops and samples for your own musical productions (read the disclaimer first, please), or get in contact with other Dubroom visitors in the Forum. If there is something you are looking for, or want to sell, you cal also put a classified add on the site, and other people will read it. If you're looking for new gear, you can buy it through the studio as well. And ofcourse, there's a set of links to relevant sites. |
| What is the Drummer's Corner? |

This section is created especially for the reggae drummers. It's an initiative from reggae drummer IMRO FEDOR, a member of the band JAH ROOTS. He would like to share his experience with colleges and has already made a move by writing an introduction note. |
| What about the sample section? |

In this part of the Dubroom you will find a variety of samples and loops as well as loop packs. |
| Can I use the Dubroom Samples in my commercial projects? |
|
Not unconditionally. If you want to use it for an mp3 that you will put on any site, like IUMA, then please make a link to the Dubroom. If you want to put it on CD, please contact the Dubroom so we can work out a deal. |
| What is the "Word" section of the Dubroom Studio? |
|
In this part of the Dubroom you can read articles about the production of reggae music, written by for example visitors of the Dubroom. You can also find other information like schemes, lists et cetera. |
| What are "Classified Ads"? |
|
This section provides you with the possibility to put a little advert or message on the Dubroom, so other visitors can read it. For example, you might want to have a CD that can not be found. Or you are a musician looking for a band. Or you might like to buy or sell some gear. All this can be done in this section. |
